Our company seeks to add value to human habitats by enhancing both public spaces and private dwellings, with a particular interest in adaptive reuse and historic preservation.

We provide new construction and renovation services for both commercial and residential projects. Much of our work is self-performed, allowing us to stay directly connected with the client throughout the project.

Dane Forlines founded JDF Construction LLC in 2022 after 20 years of experience in city-building. Dane holds a civil engineering degree from Vanderbilt University, and a Master’s in City & Regional Planning from the University of Memphis. He is currently certified by the American Institute for Certified Planners (AICP), is accredited by the Congress for the New Urbanism (CNU-A), and is licensed as a general contractor and real estate broker*. He lives in Memphis with his wife and three children.
